The next webinar in a series on the practical application of BIM for infrastructure is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. EDT. The free webinar, sponsored by the Highway Engineering Exchange Program and the BuildingSMART USA chapter, will review model based digital delivery related to the design and construction of transportation projects.
The webinar agenda will include an introductory plenary session on national BIM perspectives in Transportation, including updates on the AASHTO Joint Technical Committee on Electronic Engineering Standards, which includes representatives from our committee. Participants will hear a series of presentations from three transportation agencies on moving to Model as the Legal Document. The webinar will also include a panel discussion on Model Development Standards from state DOT, contractor, and consultant perspectives.
