Congress passed and President Trump signed into law a $2 trillion fiscal stimulus bill designed to offset the impact of the coronavirus on the U.S. economy and the American public. Called the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, several provisions extend to Retirement Plans and individuals.
This session is open to Plan Sponsors and ACEC Members and potential members. Plan Sponsors are faced with many unique challenges from professional to personal, affecting every department and aspect of your day-to-day. Most recently, many providers are asking Plan Sponsors to decide within the next day to six days if they Opt In or Opt Out of the provisions under the Care Act, placing urgency on your business leaders and Retirement Benefits committees’.
Join us in a live discussion with guest speaker Erin Turley, Partner-McDermott, Will & Emery (Legal Counsel to the ACEC Retirement Trust) as we explore the CARES Act, COVID-19 and considerations for you as a Plan Sponsor as you navigate this rapidly changing environment.
Hope you are able to join!
