ACEC/MA Private Sector Member Briefing - Lessons Learned in Virtual Hearings
June 10, 10 - 11 AM on Zoom*
Open to all ACEC/MA Members - If Your Firm is an ACEC/MA Member, YOU are an ACEC/MA Member.
Join us for a presentation and discussion on lessons learned in virtual public hearings led by Jeff Heidelberg, PE, LEED AP.
Since the discontinuance of face to face public hearings upon the onset of the pandemic, we have had the opportunity to participate in numerous virtual public hearings with various municipalities. Some have been held with municipal boards, such as the Boston Conservation Commission, Revere Planning Board and Site Plan Review Committee, as well as other hearings in more suburban towns. Through these various hearings, we have encountered many lessons learned that have subsequently led to successful hearings from our Clients’ and the Municipalities’ perspective. Jeff will share some of these lessons learned - many that I’m sure you have experienced or can relate to, as well.
Jeff Heidelberg, PE, LEED® AP is the Manager of Urban Development at Beals and Thomas, Inc. He has 20 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer and Real Estate Developer. Currently, Jeff is managing the design, permitting, and survey services for Beals and Thomas, Inc. assistance with the Suffolk Downs project.
