Topic: Electric Grid and Energy Issues: An overview of the power sector in New England and discussion on key issues as related to the grid and power sources including renewable energy and offshore wind.
Guest: Eric Wilkinson joined Environmental League of Massachusetts in 2016 and serves as the General Counsel and Director of Energy Policy. Prior to joining ELM, Eric served as Senior External Affairs Representative at ISO New England, the entity responsible for managing the wholesale energy grid. Eric’s responsibilities included environmental, climate change and renewable energy issues. He has also been a state (New Jersey Board of Public Utilities) and federal (US Environmental Protection Agency) regulator. Eric holds a Juris Doctorate and a Masters in the Study of Environmental Law, cum laude from the Vermont Law School.
