About this session:
VHB’s CEO Mike Carragher and Chief People Officer Keri Kocur recently organized and led a program focused on Diversity & Inclusion at an ACEC Design Professionals Coalition Semi-Annual Meeting. DPC is a national organization that harnesses the combined resources and capabilities of leading firms (56 of the ENR Top 100) to address critical political and public policy issues. The session highlighted the moral and business imperatives of D&I, as well as premiered results of a D&I benchmarking survey that VHB spearheaded and co-sponsored with ACEC-DPC. It was the first D&I-focused survey conducted in the AEC industry and it will establish a baseline for our industry to benchmark D&I program development over time. The survey also provides examples of best practices so we can all benefit from effective initiatives and valuable insight of DPC colleague firms.
