Awarded by the ACEC/MA Education Corporation
To donate to the Judith Nitsch Scholarship fund |
In honor of Judith Nitsch's lifelong commitment to expanding opportunities in the engineering field, ACEC/MA Education Corporation is proud to partner with Nitsch Engineering to provide a scholarship for students who are traditionally underrepresented in the engineering and/or land surveying fields.
Throughout her career, Judy worked tirelessly to educate grade school students about careers in engineering, and to provide mentorship for college students who were pursuing engineering degrees. From launching Nitsch Engineering’s annual Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day in 2002 to mentoring dozens of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) students, Judy has helped many young engineers find their way to a fulfilling career.
Judy has been a groundbreaker for women in engineering, including serving as ACEC/MA’s first female president in 1998. For more information on Judy’s exceptional career, please visit http://www.nitscheng.com/about-us/firm-background/honoring-our-founder-judy-nitsch/.
