November 5, 2021: The MEPA Office has issued two protocols relative to environmental justice for public comment.
Public comments can be submitted by November 26, 2021 to MEPA-regs@mass.gov .
These protocols will supplement proposed amendments to MEPA regulations at 301 CMR 11.00, which are planned for final promulgation by December 2021.
New transitional rules regarding environmental justice outreach went into effect on June 24, 2021, and remain in place for all ENFs/EENFs.
