MassDOT Highway Now Accepts Electronic Invoices From Consultants

Effective March 30, 2020, MassDOT Highway Division now accepts electronic submission of consultant invoices: 

Steps for the Electronic Submission of Consultant Invoices to MassDOT Highway Division

• Effective 3/30/2020, all MassDOT Highway Consultants shall submit invoices electronically to the newly-created MassDOT Consultant Invoice Mailbox
• Hard copy submissions are not required pending further notice.
• All emails should have a subject line formatted as: (MassDOT Contract manager last name)-(Contract No.)-(Invoice No.) (e.g. smith-98562-003).
• Invoice package should be attached and include all documentation and certifications, and be saved as a single .pdf.
• Consultants should make every effort to keep file size below 10 MB in order to support internal routing. If file size cannot be held below this threshold, the Consultant should consider separating the invoice into multiple parts by assignments.
