MassDOT Highway Division issued the Hundredth Anniversary Edition of the MassDOT Bridge Manual, Parts I, II & III.
This edition of the Bridge Manual, which commemorates the first 100 years of the MassDOT Bridge Section, must be used for all bridge designs started after May 31, 2024, and for all active bridge designs that are at Sketch Plan phase or earlier as of June 1, 2024.
For additional information regarding the Bridge Manual and how it should be used on new and active projects, refer to Engineering Directive E-24-003.
MassDOT Highway notified ACEC/MA about this new Bridge Manual on May 28, 2024.
