The Massachusetts Clean Water Trust issued a Request for Responses (RFR) to prequalify consulting engineers for a water infrastructure asset management planning grant program for Massachusetts’ communities. All consulting engineers that work with cities, towns and public water utilities are encouraged to submit a response. The goal of the RFR is to prequalify firms to contract with eligible entities to produce asset management plans, and to use the information in the responses to develop the full scope of the new grant program. This new program will be based on the current asset management grant program run by MassDEP, but will look to provide more grant funds and to fund complete plans for communities.
