The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs Dam and Seawall Repair or Removal Program Loan application period is now open. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until April 28, 2023. ACEC/MA successfully advocated for the creation of this important program years ago!
RFR ENV 23 DS 03 is a loan program to repair or remove dams, seawalls and other coastal infrastructure, and levees.
Loans may range from $250,000 to $2 million+. Loans are available at low interest rates and are serviced by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust.
A construction loan may be a good choice for your project if you will be ready for construction before July, 2023, if the project has an unpredictable schedule, or if there are other factors making the project ineligible for other EEA grant programs. An EEA loan can provide you with a great deal of flexibility for implementing your project.
The loan application is available on the Massachusetts COMMBUYS system. To access the RFR documents in the procurement file, go to the File Attachments section and select the link to view the RFR document.
